At The Teepee, we cherish every child we have the privilege to care for, from six weeks old until they leave for school. And when we wave your little one off for the last time, we know the care and education we provided was not just a solid preparation for school, but the strongest foundation for life. The Ofsted Inspector commented on this during our last inspection….. ”The Teepee is outstanding in its work of caring for and developing children… Children are happy, curious and well prepared for their next stage of education.”

Our experienced nursery team knows exactly what it takes to nurture a diverse community – just ask Ofsted. In fact, we are so in tune with your child’s development that when they change, we change too; tailor-making activities to help them continue learning.

Your wishes as a parent are of paramount importance in this process. We’ll keep talking to you every step of the way with parent – keyperson termly meetings,  and we update your child’s page right here on the website with recent photos and comments as well as our Art Journal with their latest masterpiece!

But no matter how seriously we take our role as educators, The Teepee’s first priority is making sure your child is happy. You’ll soon learn that there’s never a dull moment at The Teepee!

Learning & Discovery

Here at The Teepee, we know that little minds have big ideas. Imaginative and insatiable, there really is no stopping them! Our curriculum carefully nurtures your child’s development, being based around clearly defined developmental stages and informed by close liaison with you and Rebecca, our in-house Early Years Specialist. Whether it’s playing with leaves and conkers, buying ingredients for cake-baking, or making shampoo playdough and props for the Home Corner, there’s always so much to do at The Teepee!
