The Teepee Day Nursery

As you might expect, The Teepee Day Nursery isn’t really a Teepee – that just wouldn’t be sensible for childcare provision. Instead, we’ve designed a children’s nursery around the principles associated with this structure such as safety, security, comfort and fun, and applied them to a much more practical converted house within its own grounds, where each room is equipped with the highest specification, age-related equipment and is beautifully decorated, creating a bright and fun day care environment in which to enjoy each new day’s learning and exploring.

The Teepee is a fantastic place for early years foundation stage learning – both inside and out! Inside, large airy spaces have been created to complement smaller nooks and crannies, making it perfect for tiny adventures and learning. And outside, from vegetable patches to a climbing frame, playground safety surfaces and sensory zones, our beautiful nursery school is literally budding with things for your child to enjoy.

The Cuddly Cubs – our baby room – is homely room with lots of room to crawl and explore. The room opens out onto a courtyard and sensory garden for the babies to enjoy.
We have a dedicated cot room, which is part of the Cuddly Cubs, which is separate to give the children a quiet area to sleep.
The Bouncing Bears, is one of our toddler rooms and is bright and airy. It has separate areas for messy play, imaginative play or a quiet corner to look at a book.

The Playful Pups is one of our toddler rooms, which is really cosy, with lots of corners to explore and play.
The Cheeky Chipmunks is a bright and airy room with a door leading onto the patio.

The Racing Raccoons has lots of storage for the children to self select their own toys and lots of room to move and learn.
We have a dedicated cot room, which is part of the Cuddly Cubs, which is separate to give the children a quiet area to sleep.
Lots of fresh air and birds singing – what better lullaby! There are prams for your baby to sleep in outside, if you prefer.
The Playful Pups is one of our toddler rooms, which is really cosy, with lots of corners to explore and play.
The nursery patio is fully used as an outside room in the nursery with lots of things to learn and discover. It is partially covered, so it can be used in the rain too!
